Located just 15 minutes’ drive from Málaga international airport, Benalmádena is one of the Costa del Sol’s most popular all year round destinations. Benalmádena comprises three distinct areas; Benalmádena Costa and the slightly elevated Pueblo ‘white village’ and Arroyo de la Miel, each with a different character but equally as popular.

Benalmádena is famous for its award-winning marina, often named as the ‘best marina in the world’ due to its fantasy Arabic influenced architecture, artificial islands and over 1,000 moorings. It is also a hub of activity, bustling with shops, restaurants, chandlers, a sailing club and a sea life aquarium. This stretch of coastline is also blessed with almost 10 kilometres of sandy beaches, bars, hotels, a casino and a beautiful promenade, attracting visitors of all ages and nationalities.

GOLF

Torrequebrada Golf Club is one of the Costa del Sol's more established golf courses,

opened in 1976 and hosted the Spanish Open three years later. Short by modern standards, it is nevertheless a tough test with lots of water and mature semi-tropical vegetation. The 3rd hole is only 100 yards long, but Seve once ran up a 7 there. Torrequebrada was apparently Bing Crosby's favourite Spanish golf course – and it's not hard to see why.
